| He has over 15 years experience at executive management level in the shipping and freight forwarding industry. Is the owner and founder of INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING LIMITED which became operational in April 1997. Prior to this, Mr. Laughlin worked as country manager for Tecmarine Lines Inc. for 5 years and represented, as the agent, Tropical Shipping Inc. for 3 years. Prior to this Mr. Laughlin worked in two of the largest conglomerates in the Caribbean: the Neal & Massy Group for 20 years and the ANSA McAL Group for 3 years |
| Mrs. Laughlin studied Business Administration and Accounting in London, England (1975-1978). She has over 23 years working experience with one of the largest commercial banks in the Caribbean, where she gained vast experience in all aspects of banking including customer lending, human resources, credit cards and auditing. She is also owner and founder of INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING LIMITED and joined the company in its second year of operation. She presently directs the finance and administration |
| Has extensive experience in the shipping industry, having worked as a sales representative with many large shipping lines such as Maersk, EWL and Tropical Shipping. Marcus joined International Shipping Limited in 1997 as a sales representative and developed the North American trade. He was made Sales Manager in 2001 and in the year 2004 was promoted to Sales and Marketing Director. Marcus has developed a special preference for selling transportation and logistics solutions for special projects and cargo associated with it. And thus his job title has developed into that of Projects Director. He is one of the best at developing creative and innovative solutions to the most complex problems that face our customers. |
| Miss Baldeo holds a Diploma in Business Administration and is a member of The Association of Business Executives. She has 13 years experience in various aspects of the shipping industry. She was owner’s representative for Blue Caribe Line, Inc. Prior to joining INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING LIMITED she held the position of office manager at Global Steamship Agencies Ltd. She joined International Shipping in January 2001 and quickly moved up the ladder to Customer Services Manager since January 2004. |
| She holds a Bachelors of Science degree from the University of the West Indies, St. Augustine and a Masters degree in International Management. Before entering the shipping industry, Shivana worked at two major multi-national firms. First, she had a brief stint at the advertising agency McCann Erickson World Group Caribbean, then she worked for two years at Nestlé Trinidad and Tobago Limited, starting as a marketing trainee and leaving as an Account Manager. She started her shipping career in May 2006 at International Shipping Limited in which time she has managed the customs brokerage department, and has been recently promoted to the position of the Sales and Marketing Manager. |
| Rishi-Nirvan is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (F.C.C.A.). He started off in the advertising industry and moved into auditing at PricewaterhouseCoopers Ltd gaining a wide range of experience. After about three years, Rishi-Nirvan left to serve as the Accountant at Budget Marine (Trinidad) Ltd where he is credited with significant improvements to the financial systems and results. He has also worked at DHL Worldwide Express and Publicis Caribbean Ltd before starting at International Shipping Ltd in February 2006 as the Financial Controller |
| He joined Customs & Excise Division Ministry of Finance November 1964. In 1968 He attended Customs & Excise Regional School Training Programme which covers all aspects of Customs & Excise Laws and regulations and operations at the various sections. He attended various courses on the Customs & Excise Harmonized System Classification of Imported Goods and Valuation Code. Over the years he has acquired vast experience in processing of Customs & Excise Import Declaration Forms and has worked in every department of customs including cargo bonds at both seaports and the airport. He served a total of 41 years at customs during which period he has been promoted into positions of increasing responsibility and authority until his recent retirement as Deputy Comptroller of Customs. |
| Trevor has over 15years experience in various aspects of the shipping industry. He is the holder of a Grade II Customs licence. Trevor was the documentation supervisor at Alstons shipping company and was also in charge of logistics and operations at Perez y CIA (T’dad) Ltd. Prior to joining International Shipping Limited as the Customer Services Manager. |
